Breath of the Wild: Update 1.5.0 Released

None of my hopes and expectations were met, instead they simply added language support for Chinese and Korean. I suppose, this justifies the major version increase instead of going for 1.4.1, but it's not really interesting for anyone outside of these countries.

This is what the official patch notes say:

  • You can now select Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), or Korean in the language settings menu on the Switch console to display text in the selected language.
  • Voice Language selection is not supported for the above languages. If you choose “Match System Settings” in Options, voice data will be set to Japanese.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

The change to version "1.5.0" had me really excited this morning, but it doesn't appear like they fixed anything of interest. If they fixed the missable Thunder Helm, they probably would have mentioned this in the patch notes. But on the other hand they also never mentioned purchasing DLC armor from Granté in the notes for version 1.3.3, so this update still might hold a surprise...
