The English overview trailer for the new The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening has another small piece of new information for us. In the video we can actually read what Manbo says to Link now and it's the following:
The English version seems a little bit iffy, to be honest, because it only says "a warp point", but I've also checked the German version and there it's clear that this means any warp point.
Again, this is something that was already expected and will certainly be super useful. It even is a nice fit that the warp points seem to be water themed now, instead of blinking holes in the ground. The only question is whether Manbo's Pond will still be a target or not. Maybe it even unlocks another warp point there, we'll see, but it would be sad if the original warping destination gets forgotten in the remake.
