The last time I made a list of everything that I could see happening in the Nintendo Direct and to my big surprise all of it actually happened. Let's try again for tomorrow! Here's my list of possible Zelda announcement in the Direct:
I doubt that they will go deeper into The Legend of Zelda for Wii U. They're going to save it for E3, but still they might give a small teaser again like at the last Direct.
So, what I want to see the most for now is the next big update for Tri Force Heroes and some acknowledgement of the 30th Anniversary. Both could even go hand in hand with an Anniversary themed DLC for Tri Force Heroes. And related to this they might also offer Four Swords Anniversary Edition again... However, right now Nintendo is celebrating the Pokémon Anniversary and with that they might not focus on the Zelda Anniversary until later.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will be released later this month and it wouldn't surprise me, if the first DLC pack will already follow shortly after. The roster had space for one more character, while new weapons and new Adventure Maps can always be a thing, themed after Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. The game has already been out for a while in Japan, so announcing some DLC now might happen, even if it seems a little early.
We already know that Skyward Sword will come to the eShop, because this info came with the leak of Twilight Princess HD, where they had a pretty accurate list of Wii U eShop releases for the next months. They might announce this now, which also could be part of their Anniversary plans, where they want to keep the Zelda fans busy until Zelda U arrives. April and May could even be a time, where they focus on Skyward Sword by releasing it on the eShop and having a Skyward Sword themed DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors Legends. On the other hand, it might be a little too early right after Twilight Princess HD.
But overall there are many possibilities for Zelda tomorrow and I'm excited for the Direct. There also could buzzkills, of course. The thing I'm most afraid of would be an update for Tri Force Heroes that adds amiibo outfits. This would make me angry...
Update: Well, at least one of the points came true, better than nothing. I probably shouldn't have expected the same things in two Directs in a row, though I'm not entirely happy that Nintendo didn't acknowledge the 30th Anniversary yet and I really expected a 2nd round of DLC for Tri Force Heroes, which might get announced outside of a Direct this time, we'll see... I'll talk about the Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC stuff later.
- 30th Anniversary teaser
- Tri Force Heroes 3.0.0 Update
- Four Swords Anniversary Edition re-release
- Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC
- Skyward Sword on eShop
- More snippets of The Legend of Zelda for Wii U

So you've finally come around to being a bit upset about no recognition for the 30th Anniversary as well, hmm? :P
Well, I mostly want the rest of the Tri Force Heroes DLC and I still suspect that it's connected to the 30th Anniversary.
But I also begin to fear that they might not celebrate the 30th Anniversary at all. Nintendo seems to focus on the Pokémon Anniversary this year, which might go on until the new Sun & Moon games. And knowing Nintendo, there's only room for one "motto" during the year. We'll see.
