40th Anniversary Concert

a live orchestra playing music with a 40th Anniversary banner in the middle

The 40th Anniversary Direct today began with a beautiful Triforce Medley, performed by an orchestra. It's a fantastic edit, focusing on Zelda, Ganon and Link, while including footage of all 21 mainline Zelda games.

If you're now hooked and want more, then Nintendo had some good news for you: they are doing a new tour of symphonic concerts, simply called "The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert." It has an official website with tour dates, where ironically it will reach North America on the very last day of the actual anniversary time span, February 22nd. And when it arrives in Europe, the series will be already 41 years old. But that doesn't matter, because it's the 40th Anniversary which has led to this event.

Sadly, Germany is not yet on that list, but they will announce additional dates and countries later on, so there is still a chance for me to visit it potentially.
